Did you know Priyanka Chopra has a cousin who happens to be a South Indian actress Meera Chopra? A source confirms, “Meera is all set to make her Bollywood debut and has never used Priyanka’s name to climb the ladder. In fact, she wanted to keep this fact under wraps.”

Surprisingly, Meera has now employed Priyanka Chopra’s ex-manager Prakash Jaju, who was arrested in 2004 after Priyanka complained of verbal harassment. Clearly, Meera did not bother about Jaju’s dark history with her cousin before getting him to work for her.

Though Prakash Jaju was responsible for getting Priyanka big hits with A-listers like Akshay Kumar and Salman Khan, a source reveals, “Things had been horrible between Priyanka and Jaju. This is why it’s surprising that he is now handling her cousin Meera Chopra who is a south India actress.”

Why did Meera sign Jaju who is on a warpath with Priyanka and her family? A family friend of Priyanka’s reveals, “Meera and Priyanka’s families are not in touch anymore.”

When contacted Meera she was shocked and refused to give any details about her family connection with Priyanka. Denying that she ever employed Jaju as her manager, Meera said, “I have Ajay Chabbria working as my manager. He looks after my work.”

Interestingly, Prakash Jaju doesn’t deny the fact that he’s working for Meera. He adds, “Meera was brought to me by Ajay. We are business partners and have a contract for the same. I am handling Meera’s work but I am not aware that she’s Priyanka’s cousin. Meera never mentioned it to me.”

Forget the Milind Soman and Madhu Sapre commercial. Cyberspace is now feeling the heat of a New York Lotto commercial that was shot by Bipasha Basu and Vivek Oberoi. YouTube uploads mention that the commercial has been directed by Ken Nahoum. The art direction has been done by illustrator Tommy Kane and it was shot in India.

Needless to say, the ad is very bold in terms of Indian standards and, hence, apprehensions remained about whether the actors had indeed shot for it. Vivek’s spokesperson said, “We can’t get in touch with Vivek and hence, can’t comment on this issue. We don’t have any idea about this ad.”

However, Bipasha’s manager confirmed that it is indeed the star, who has been featured in this ad. “Bipasha had done this ad in 1999 when she was modelling for Ford Modelling Agency in New York. It was done as an international assignment and was meant for the international market. I don’t know why such an old ad has surfaced now,” said Bipasha’s manager.
