You don’t what you’re on about. He had to fight Salita because Salita allowed Khan to fight Kotelnik first when he was the mandatory challenger. He stepped aside on the understanding that he fought the winner of Kotelnik v Khan. This deal was sanctioned by the WBA. Also, this was Khan’s first title defence – which he had to take – so how can you suggest he is a cherry-picker? You’re just another internet big mouth who doesn’t have his facts sraight.

1. there was no practical time for him to fight another opponent (because of Kotelnik already delaying the mandatory time frame to fight Khan…when he should have gone against Salita)
2. If you remember the press at the time of the 1st Pacquiao – Barrera fight…they said the same thing
