In Tum Mile, their first film together, Soha Ali Khan and Emraan Hashmi underwent a unique but grueling experience of shooting for hours in waist deep water. Everyday, the shooting lasted for more than 12 hours and the schedule continued till two months.
Of course, the primary concern of director Kunal Deshmukh was to ensure that none of the cast or crew fell sick because of water. Therefore, strict instructions were issued to keep the water clean. But Soha jests that Emraan probably broke the rule.
“Kunal had given strict instructions not to spit or pee in the water, but I think Emraan did one of the two…the worse one!” Soha is quoted as saying by a website.
Jokes apart, Soha added that the water did keep getting murkier as the shooting progressed, but she and Emraan managed by laughing about it.
