well you could lol at mohabbatein but this is wat bachan himself said… you could have found that film boring but it was a blockbuster in india , uk and us.
i agree with deewar, kabhi kabhi, silsila. but mohabbatein ? lol, this movie is itself a history, a fucking boring movie and a poor copy of the beautiful american movie “dead poet’s society” watched it or not ?
only fact u can say about his revival is: kbc, this is a show that brings the best host and conversationalist out of this man and people loved it a lot.

credit goes to yash chopra alone… mohabbatein gave him a new life . It was yash chopra who made him realize that he shud play his age and romancing girls half his age duznt suite him. Yash Chopra was the man who made him a superstar with films like deewar, kabhie kabhie and silsila got him a romantic image out of “angry young man” tag. He wud have been history if yash chopra dint revive him in mohabbatein.
wow Mr.bachchan is one & only the Best performer/actor in our film industry.I respect him a lot,love him.he is living Legend.He is very humble/perfectionist.everybody has to learn from him how to live in acting from srk to shahid.

The good thing is that with the passage of time he has moulded himself to some extent and no doubt has a colossal impact in electronic media and showbiz. I still think that Amitabh should focus more on performance oriented roles in his movies and try not to indulge too much with the temptations of accepting any roles for the sake of its remuneration. Amitabh should not forget that indirectly because of Shahrukh, he started his second career. He tried his hard but just because success of “Mohabbatain”, he got another chance to stand in bollywood and then KBC was launched. And at that time, he was the first ‘FAMOUS’ bollywood hero came on television TO HOST QUIZ SHAOW. And because of the highest price money in quiz show in india, this show got publicity. And because of this publicity & success of Mohabbatain, Amitabh got limelight again.
